Pushing the frontier in Evidence Based Practice
The RISP stands for Research Infrastructure Practice Support. This is a collaborative project with the Dr. Patricia Areán, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) grant project. The grant underwrites the cost of establishing a center that will focus on improving treatment of depression for low-income elders and elders of color. FSA and UCSF spent three years working on preparing the grant and we are one of a handful of centers in the nation that focuses on mental health of low-income elders and elders of color.
