CIRCE
CIRCE is FSA's Electronic Charting System. CIRCE, which stands for Cloud-based Integrated Reporting and Charting Environment, was implemented in June 2006 by all FSA's mental health programs document
services. We have continual on-going trainings on CIRCE for new
users and managers. If you want more information on our application, please
contact Melissa Moore PhD.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The aim of the course is to increase the knowledge base of CBT for psychosis in the community and to explore ways in which clinicians can incorporate these techniques into their current practice.
Cultural Diversity
Cultural diversity is multi-dimensional practice, which impacts how we view our clients, our co-workers, and
ourselves. The purpose of this workshop is to enhance how we as an Agency view strength-based services
through a culturally-sensitive lens.
Early Psychosis Trainings
Early intervention in psychotic illness vastly improves outcomes for clients, resulting in reduced symptoms, improved social and work functioning, and a higher quality of life. In this program, you will learn about a treatment approach that makes recovery from psychosis, - and perhaps, even prevention of psychosis – possible. This Series is only open to All FSA staff.
Gero-psychophramacology
The aim of this lecture is to talk about the different in providing psychiatric medications for older adults and key risk factors and benefits. We will also go over what clinical case managers need to know in order to maximize collaboration with medical staff.
Motivational Care Management
The Felton Institute has designed a strength-based care-management training for both professional and paraprofessional case managers for the City of San Francisco. A pilot of this program has been offered to the Department of Aging and Adult Services since 2008.
Motivational Interviewing
In this highly interactive, skills-focused training, participants will learn and rehearse motivational interviewing. This empirically validated,
clinical approach works especially well with clients who are highly
resistant to or ambivalent about changing.
Raising the Bar in Geriatric Services
Each seminar will include a one-hour didactic training and a one-hour
case presentation to highlight the relationship between theory and
practice. This Series is only open to FSA Geriatric providers and FSA CAP providers.
